MPPS has been established for over 20 years & employs 20 people.  The brief of Midland Power Press Services Ltd is to provide a comprehensive support and services centre to the Power Press, Metalworking and Allied Industries.  The aim of the company is to establish and maintain long term relationships with both new and old customers.

As our company name suggests our team of skilled and experienced press service engineers are able to carry out all type of service be it Full Reconditioning and Refurbishment to Manufacturers Original Specifications or as in retro-fitting of new clutch and brake assemblies complete re-design.  This is backed by extensive manufacturing facilities including machining, assembly, electrical and control panels build and test.  The machine shop facilities at our base in Tipton are available for the re-machining of existing components and the manufacture of replacement and spare parts.

We can Routinely Maintain equipment using our established planning and preventative maintenance system or as often happens Effect Emergency Repairs to get you back into production.  The benefits being thereafter planning to affect complete Permanent Repair.  We offer a Full and Comprehensive Back Up Service.

We have experience of working on a wide range of Power Presses, Friction Screw presses, Hydraulic Presses and Forging Presses plus ancillary equipment and we aim to provide:

• Field Services – trained engineers to carry out Breakdown and Emergency Repairs as well as Scheduled Maintenance Programs.
• Spare Parts – components to original specifications for all makes of presses supplied and fitted on or off site.
• Press Overhauls and Refurbishment – carried out to customer requirements.
• Electrical Repairs – replacement control panels to current requirements – PLC or hard wire controls, press re-wiring, breakdown services.
• Clutch & Brake – parts, overhauls or conversions – pneumatic and hydraulic dual clutch & brake units.
• Insurance Inspections – press and safety guard inspections to HSG236.
• Machine Moves – installation and removal of machinery using our own cranage and transport.
• Mobile Crane Hire – 6 ton Iron Fairy’s for hire, S7 Hoist Truck, SL20 Scissor Lift
